Container Terminal O&M

The Navin Group Container Terminal O&M Division delivers complete operations management across planning, vessel, yard, gate, and CFS functions.
Our strength lies in manpower management — deploying skilled operators for quay cranes (QCs), rubber-tyred gantries (RTGs), reach stackers, and forklifts, along with experienced drivers for internal transfer vehicles (ITVs). By combining operational expertise, equipment management, and performance-linked systems, we consistently achieve high productivity, faster vessel turnaround, and stronger SLA compliance for clients.

We undertake both full-terminal O&M and sectional management, with integrated control over engineering, reporting, documentation, and customer service.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

Beyond client terminal operating systems (TOS), Navin Group provides an independent and robust reporting methodology that ensures transparency, accountability, and proactive performance management. Key Reporting Parameters:
  • Manpower Reporting: operator/driver deployment by shift, absenteeism, replacements.
  • Productivity Reports: QC moves per hour, RTG yard moves, average ITV turnaround.
  • Vessel Reports: berth productivity, crane intensity, gross crane rates.
  • Yard Reports: stack occupancy %, reefer uptime, container dwell time.
  • Gate Reports: average gate-in/gate-out times, truck turnaround time.
  • Equipment Uptime Reports: MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures).
  • Safety & Incident Logs: near-misses, stoppages, downtime analysis.
Centralized Oversight:
  • All site-level reporting is synced with client systems and also consolidated at Navin Group’s central control for cross-terminal benchmarking.
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards are shared with clients for clarity on performance vs SLAs.
  • Custom MIS formats can be developed for project-specific requirements.
This ensures clients have real-time visibility, while Navin Group management maintains active oversight and follow-up across terminals.
